QUESS KING DELIVERY SERVICES
Package Handling & Claims Policy
Effective Date: August 21, 2026
1. Purpose
This policy explains how Quess King Delivery Services handles packages received through our services and how customers can report package concerns, damage, missing items or other problems.
Our goal is to handle packages carefully, maintain accurate records and provide customers with clear information about the status of their packages.
2. Package Receiving
When a package arrives at Quess King Delivery Services, authorized staff may record information such as the customer's name, tracking number, date received and package status.
The package may then be placed into the appropriate processing area while awaiting the next stage of handling.
Receiving a package does not necessarily mean that the contents have been fully inspected or verified.
3. Package Inspection
Where reasonably necessary, Quess King may visually inspect the exterior of a package for identification, condition, handling requirements, safety or preparation.
Quess King will not intentionally open or inspect the contents of a package without a legitimate business, safety, legal or customer-authorized reason, except where applicable law permits or requires otherwise.
Customers should properly package their items and follow the requirements of the original carrier or seller.
4. Package Protection & Preparation
Where package protection or preparation is requested or included as part of a service, Quess King may perform reasonable preparation intended to reduce the risk of damage during subsequent handling.
Protection and preparation may include appropriate external packaging, reinforcement, labeling or other reasonable handling measures depending on the package.
Protection or preparation does not guarantee that a package cannot be damaged during transportation or subsequent handling by another party.
5. Package Statuses
Customers may see the following statuses when tracking a package:
- Received — The package has been recorded as received.
- Processing — The package is being checked or processed.
- Protected & Prepared — The package has been checked and prepared for the next stage.
- Ready for Pickup — The package has been recorded as available for collection.
- Picked Up — The package has been recorded as collected.
6. Damaged Packages
Customers should inspect their packages as soon as reasonably possible after collection.
If a package appears damaged, customers should notify Quess King as soon as possible and, where practical, provide photographs showing the condition of the package and any affected contents.
Customers should keep the original packaging and other relevant materials until the matter has been reviewed, unless instructed otherwise.
7. Missing or Incorrect Items
If a customer believes that an item is missing, incorrect or otherwise different from what was expected, the customer should contact Quess King as soon as possible.
We may request the tracking number, photographs, order information, receipts, shipping documentation or other information reasonably necessary to investigate the concern.
8. Claims
Customers wishing to make a package-related claim should contact Quess King using the contact information provided on this website.
A claim may require:
- Customer name and contact information
- Package tracking number
- Description of the issue
- Photographs of damage where applicable
- Relevant order or shipping documentation
- Other information reasonably required to investigate the matter
Each claim will be reviewed based on the available information, the circumstances of the matter, applicable service terms and applicable law.
9. Reporting Time
Customers should report package damage, missing items or other concerns as soon as reasonably possible after discovering the issue.
Certain claims may be subject to time limits imposed by carriers, sellers, insurance providers, applicable agreements or law. Customers should therefore avoid unnecessary delays when reporting a problem.
10. Third-Party Carriers and Sellers
Some packages handled by Quess King may originate from or be transported by third-party sellers, retailers, marketplaces, couriers or carriers.
Where a problem relates to the original seller, carrier or another third-party service provider, Quess King may assist the customer with available information but may not control the third party's investigation, refund, replacement or claims process.
11. Prohibited or Unsafe Packages
Quess King may refuse, hold or otherwise restrict the handling of packages that appear to contain prohibited, unlawful, dangerous or unsafe items.
Customers are responsible for complying with applicable laws and the rules of the relevant carrier or seller.
Customers should not attempt to conceal prohibited or dangerous items.
12. Customer Responsibility
Customers are responsible for:
- Providing accurate shipping and contact information.
- Using appropriate packaging for the items being shipped.
- Following applicable carrier and seller requirements.
- Not sending prohibited or dangerous items.
- Reporting package concerns promptly.
- Providing accurate information during a claim investigation.
13. Pickup Verification
Quess King may request reasonable information to verify the identity or authorization of a person collecting a package.
Customers should not allow unauthorized persons to collect packages on their behalf.
14. Records and Investigation
